Missing Parts August 22, 2010 Craig Cerise (Fountain Valley, Ca) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We had purchased this as a gift for a friend but she had already received one so we kept it. It was roughly 8 months before we took it out of the box to use it and the front tire was missing. I called their customer service as their instructions suggested and they refused it fix their mistake. Rather than making the stroller totally useless, we had to pay an additional $50 to get the tire and pay for shipping. Terrible company with terrible customer service. I am now just hoping the stroller holds up...if not, i will be back to finish this review.
Good stroller, even for walking July 7, 2010 Texas Grad I am not a "jogger" or runner, but this stroller is good also for walking. The one downside (for walking) is that the fixed front wheel means that I have to tilt the stroller in order to turn the stroller's direction, but the stroller seems durable. The back of the stroller seat is also leaned back a bit further (even at its most upright position) than looks comfortable for my child, but it isn't that big of a deal. The shade does a pretty good job of covering my child.
Beware warranty expiration and not repairable parts June 25, 2010 J. MapleyBrittle (NC) We were given an instep jogging stroller as a gift and loved it until one day it refused to fold. The latch on one side would not release. My wife runs mostly from the house and this stroller had been folded less than 10 times.
The side latch that broke is inside the frame and cannot be repaired even by the bike store (this was confirmed by customer service). Unfortunately the stroller was six months out of warranty and instep will do nothing to help. I called and the bike store called and the company says no warranty no luck.
This part is innacessible to replace and as I said the stroller had been folded so few times I am very very disapointed with the product and this company and will never buy from them again. For such an integral part to fail is a real shame.
its awesome! June 24, 2010 A. Fung (Honolulu, Hawaii USA) My wife decided she needed to excercise so we looked around for excercise strollers.
Holy Cow are they expensive! We checked all the local stores and they had some very cool models but were all over $200.
I found this on Amazon for a reasonable price. Reading about how its a fixed wheel stroller we dont expect it to be able to turn on a dime.
I cannot beleive that Amazon ships this for free, this is a real bargain, especially if you live in Hawaii!
good value-tough to turn. May 22, 2010 S. Thomsen (duluth, MN) I think that this stroller is an excellent value compared to the price of very similar items where we live. It seems well built, was easy to put together and the baby loves it. The only issues I have are that the foot rest didn't want to go on correctly, the cup holder keeps popping off, and it is hard to turn without lifting the front wheel off the ground.
Our family has used this mostly for trail walking and on city sidewalks. When trail walking it is hard to build up speed and then go to any side. You have to lift the front up to move sideways.
I would purchase this stroller again-the few things aren't bad enough to deter me.
